Atom Splitter Audio just released 2 new free vst effect plug-ins for Windows, Mechaverb (reverb) and Clip-R, a clipping fx that appears to sound very good on percussive sounds.

From Atom Splitter Audio’s site:
“Mechaverb is a reverb effect where you can set the ranges of the internal delays which make up the reverb sound, you can also pan the bands and set there mixing amount which gives you a range of possible sounds from large halls to ringy metallic reverbs.

Clip-R is a stereo effect which allows you to trim/clip the ceiling (top) and floor (bottom) of any audio you put through it, it also features a boost control which happens before the clipping and can be used to distort the signal in combination with clipping. The left channel is shown in green and the right in red, the clipping level is show in black and this lets you see exactly what is happening to the signal. The effect works well on basses and basic waveforms like a saw etc and can change the shape.”

Coming in VST, AU and RTAS plugin formats for Windows and Mac OS X, the ELS Vocoder from Eiosis faithfully reproduces that clear and organic vintage analog vocoder sounds which have been used by many artists in the electronic music history.
The new 1.6 version features two interfaces sizes : the normal one, and another one with a reduced height, to fit into laptop screen resolutions.
