Togu Audio Line releases TAL-BassLine instrument plugin as a free download for Mac OS X and Windows systems. TAL-Bassline freeware vst synth is a virtual analog bass synthesizer especially made for bass, acid sounds and effects, and it has a very similar appareance and structure of the legendary 80’s analog monophonic synthesizer Roland SH-101 (the filter doesn’t sound exactly the same as a real SH-101, but it’s equally very nice being a -18dB low pass filter with a lot of asymmetric and random components that introduce a warm and analogue sound.)
This synth plug-in needs a VST2.3 or VST2.4 compatible host, such as Cubase or Ableton Live.
Users of Pro Tools, Logic or Digital Performer (Mac environment) need adapters if they want use it. Some adapters that should be compatible:
– FX-Pansion VST to AU Adapter
– FX-Pansion VST to RTAS Adapter
– Audio Ease VST Wrapper (peculiar to Digital Performer)
