Guys, you really have to give a shot to this gorgeous VST guitar
plug-in...like long-haired-ripped-off-jeans-leather-jacket-people
would say, this really rocks! Featuring pre-amps, power-amps, EQs,
cabs and mics models, this may be the most powerful tool to set your
guitar on fire, through your PC! As I first tried it I found myself
facing a 7 pre-amp type thing giving me more than 1000 ways of getting
my 6-strings professional and tasty. So many way to shape your guitar
sound, you surelly will be driven crazy. Just try to record your
worste guitar in your worste signal and just get it through its
presets...you'll surelly feel like a hard'n'heavy producer!!!So many
guitar presets as so many bass presets...yeah, not just for guitar
nerds, as for bass geeks! If it's not enough, you'll find even a VIP
section, featuring sounds from the most famous guitar and bass
players. What is more, amplitube really emulates the
type\axis\placement of the recording mic to provide the most accurate
sonic quality and flexibility. Not yet satisfied? You even have
classic, analogic, track-style effects such as delay, chorus, wah-wah,
flanger and overdrive. But what makes screw the most, is the post FX
module with 3 stereo-post-effects like EQ, stereo delay and stereo
reverb. Not just for your strings, you really can "tube" everything
you need, from drum loops to voice. In the end, if you like hot-chiks

IZOTOPE TRASH review
Surelly a great way to power-up your guitar, a lot of stuff to make
your stringy-tool explode with rage or whisper in warm drives but not
so versatile to work a bass out or anything else. Featuring an
interesting multi-band-dual-stage-distortion with 48 distortion types,
to edit and sharpen your nails through noise and power of sound.
Furthermore a box-modelling, emulating speaker and cabinets, 85
designs of sounds getting out your PC. Multiband filters, and
compression complete the scene giving you a really good guitar
breakout, providing you more than 1000 combinations of sounds. On the
other hand, as I have already said, you can't get out of your guitar
dreams. You can't get through low or high frequency enough to edit
voices or basses. So, guitar-people, just trash your guitar or
everything else will be trashed by you!
reFX SLAYER review
Kinda catchy the physical-modelling emulating guitar strings. So, you
just play it through your pc and give it to flames with powerful
AMP\cabinet simulation and pre\post\amp FXs. And it really looks like
something worthy as you look at guitar-itself-parameters: slap, fret,
harmonic, damp, Vscale and formant, which should give you the most
overall controll on your cyber-guitar! BUT, not so good as I
expect...I have played the guitar for a lifetime and really feel it as
a betrayal-Judas one...not dynamics neither human feeling and right
hand pick-touch! Maybe if never had listen or played a guitar you
could be cheated by this stuff, as you even took a lesson you would be
on my side! Talking about built-in amps and cabinets, nothing
especial, featuring the same stuff as other VST trashers but in a
less-complete way, with lower-range frequencies and much less presets,
to give you hand in getting started with your 6 strings works. Give it
a try, just because of virtual guitar, but not expecting anything
gorgeous... |
