|DJ Mixing Software to download - Deckadance
Image-line, a company that has more than 10 years of experience in writing and managing audio software such as FL Studio, presents Deckadance, that is a DJ mixing application that works either as a standalone program OR as a VSTi plugin inside your favourite host, such as FL Studio, Live, Sonar, Cubase, etc..
Deckadance itself can also host any VST compliant softsynth or effect.
You can control Deckadance using most (if not all) existing midi controllers & timecoded vinyl and CD systems.
To be more specific, this dj software can be controlled using a mouse or MIDI controller (it natively supports Vestax VCI-100, Behringer BCD2000 & 3000, M-Audio XSession, Allen&Heath Xone:3D, Hercules DJ Console MP3 & MKII, Kontrol-DJ & EKS XP10, with more support for other controller in the making) as well as most (if not all) of the existing timecoded vinyl & CD systems, via our 'autolearning' function. Deckadance has been tested with timecode vinyls & CDs from msPinky, Stanton FinalScratch, MixVibes, Serato Scratch Live, Virtual DJ & Torq. We have more support in the making and if you have another system that you would like to see support for, don't hesitate to let us know.
You can also record parts of your track and play them back as loops or one-shot samples, using one of the 8 inbuilt sampler slots.
The 8 integrated Deckadance sampler banks can record 1, 2, 4 or 8 beat loops straight from one of the decks. You can then trigger them on-the-fly or play them back in perfect sync with the beat of your mix.
Very funny sentence from the Image-line website: "Of course, if you suck as a DJ, you will still suck using Deckadance, but you will suck better, faster, harder and more creatively than ever before!"
The cost is set to $179 ($149 is the introductory offer for all May 2007).
