|Best and free Roland Juno 60 VST instrument - vintage emulation plugin
Togu Audio Line presents the U-NO-60: a polyphonic virtual analogue synth VST for windows (for Cubase, Ableton, Fruity Loops and other hosts) with a unique filter sound, designed taking the original Roland Juno 60 as reference. The original Juno60 is a very rich sounding synthesizer and a great analog machine, but it completely lacks MIDI control. Not a problem with this new vst emulation!
This mitological vintage machine has been used by artists such as The Cure, Vince Clarke, Faithless, Howard Jones, Eurythmics.
From Togu Audio Line website:
"Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator.
The filter section also features controls for envelope amount and polarity, LFO modulation and keyboard tracking. In addition, a non-resonant highpass filter is provided to thin out lower frequencies."
The U-NO-60 has three analog modelled oscillators, a square with pulse with modulation, a saw, a square sub oscillator and a noise generator. The sub oscillator plays 12 halftones deeper.
It features a 24dB lowpass filter and 2 LFO's that can be triggered to the note on events with trigger auto mode. The filter has asymmetric components in the corner feedback to get a warm second order distortion. It is possible to switch the filter polarity.
The envelope follower has non linear analog like envelopes and can also handle very short decay times.
